Six Star Charter arrives in Australia
On a perfect autumn Queensland morning on Sunday 07 May 2006, Cambria II, was proudly launched. Taking nearly 2 years to build, this launch was an exciting day for owner, Palm Beach Marine and Director John David.
This 100ft luxury Gentlemen's cruiser has all the charm of a bygone era with all the latest technology available for safe and comfortable chartered cruising.
Hand crafted BrazilIain mahogany furniture and panels are a main feature of this vessel, with marble and Corian finishes in all ensuites, Plasma TV, DVD and entertainment units throughout.
Cambria II was the feature boat at the 2006 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
Now it will be featured again as a nominee by the highly esteemed “Boat International
Magazine”. One of six finalists for a World Superyacht Award in the Semi-Displacement Yachts of 30m to 40m LOA category. To be decided at a Gala Evening in the palatial surroundings of the Fondazione Cini in Venice this April 2007.
The Azzura Classic 100 is a masterpiece of design style and charm. A modern day representation of a 1920's motor yacht with all the incorporating state-of-the-art technology and the latest construction materials.

John David and his wife Patti actively drove the concept style, Iain Murray, Chairman of Azzura worked the external design whilst Thomas Hamel created the interior.
The inspiration came from the original Cambria 1928 Fife K class yacht which Iain and John restored.
Now Cambria II will be chartered by the discerning with expectations of reliving the Onassis days of opulence whilst exploring the extremes of the Kimberley.

Whilst in Sydney, Cambria II will also offer day and part day charters to inbound VIPs
as well as locals who never tire of the finest Harbour in the world and Broken Bay Pittwater, one of Australia’s best kept secrets.
